The United Nations Council of Human Rights adopted today, at its 14th Session being held in Geneva, the report on the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of the Republic of San Marino, following the review carried out last February by the Working Group and based on the answers provided by the San Marino Government to the recommendations made by the Member and Observer States of the Council.
Welcoming several recommendations submitted by the delegations on 11 February 2010, when the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Antonella Mularoni, had outlined the San Marino national report and she had answered the questions addressed to her, the Government has committed itself to introducing useful changes in our system to increasingly adjust the Country to the highest standards for the protection and promotion of human rights.
Soon, the Secretariat of State for Foreign Affairs will publish the documentation relating to the Universal Periodic Review of the Republic of San Marino on its website.
