San Marino and the European Union

In 1983, the Republic of San Marino, as a third State, established official relations with the European Union which, from that time on, have strengthened, thus enabling to significantly bridge the gap between San Marino and the EU and to create important opportunities for dialogue and exchange of views. This part of the website contains the necessary information to describe the nature of the cooperation with the European Union and also provides some studies and analysis on San Marino’s path towards greater European integration.

The different sections allow to examine the history of the relations with the European Union in detail and to have access to important institutional documents (such as agreements, parliamentary decisions, reports, studies), press releases, articles regarding the initiatives undertaken by the Country, educational and job opportunities related to Europe and a list of useful websites dealing with such issue.
