Fourth edition of the Advanced Training Course on Internationalization Processes

The fourth edition of the UNIRSM Advanced Training Course in Internationalisation Processes has been presented this morning at Palazzo Begni.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nicola Renzi, and the Rector of the University of San Marino, Corrado Petrocelli, have expressed their personal satisfaction for the fruitful partnership between the University of the Republic of San Marino, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Economic Development Agency - Chamber of Commerce of San Marino.
The course will offer a more targeted and in-depth knowledge of two crucial aspects of business strategies: internationalization processes and innovation. The approach to internationalisation strategies relies on conceptual tools and the analysis of practical cases, which are necessary for the acquisition of knowledge and skills that can be used for business success abroad.
Prof. Massimo Ferdinandi will be the scientific director of the Advanced Training Course. Also this new edition will offer 130 hours of lessons taught by qualified university lecturers, diplomats and managers of multinational companies.
One of the main educational innovations of the 2018/2019 edition is the lesson on "The internationalisation of businesses and tourist destinations", testifying to the growing attention to one of the main drivers of San Marino’s economic development.
At the end of the course, there will be a written examination for the selection of the best students who will do an internship abroad in companies operating at international level. These companies will be identified through the diplomatic and consular representatives of the Republic.  Right now, 3 interns of the last edition are doing their internship in companies in Manila (Philippines) and Hanoi (Vietnam).  This possibility is a highly qualifying element of an educational project destined to the new generations. This project is part of the internationalisation of the country, to which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs pays special attention. The objective is to support the economic operators of San Marino who intend to expand their business abroad, and to encourage the establishment in San Marino of foreign investors, who need to be assisted by professionally qualified people, able to meet the new challenges.

In addition, students will be asked to translate theoretical lessons into practice by drafting a 'project work' in groups: an internationalisation plan to be drawn up in selected San Marino companies.  The award of the diploma is subject to a minimum number of hours of attendance and to the presentation of the project work.
The counseling service for students is also confirmed through the Facebook page of the Course. Through this virtual platform students can contact a group of qualified professionals in internationalisation processes.
The minimum requirement for attending the Advanced Training Course is the possession of an upper secondary school diploma. The Course is open both to citizens of San Marino and foreigners and the registration fee is Euro 820.00.

The course will begin on 9 November 2018 and will end on 22 March 2019; enrolments are open online until next 28 September via the website of the University of San Marino ( The lessons will be held at the new UNIRSM headquarters at the World Trade Center (WTC) in Dogana on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
