The Minister of Foreign Affairs Luca Beccari took the floor this morning at the 132nd session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, which this year took place in Turin under the Italian presidency. The Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs Luigi di Maio was also present.

Within the framework of the ministerial session, Minister Beccari spoke with several Ministers of Foreign Affairs and held bilateral meetings with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Principality of Monaco, Isabelle Berro Amadei, of Croatia, Gordan Grlić-Radman, of Andorra, Maria Ubach Font, and of Malta, Ian Borg.

At the end of the day Minister Beccari met with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe Marija Pejčinović Burić, who expressed gratitude towards those countries which, like San Marino, support the values of the Council of Europe, as well as for the support given to Ukrainian refugees in the Republic. San Marino's progress in the Moneyval and GRECO areas, and the institutional and judicial reforms aimed at greater adherence to the principles of the Organisation and European integration were also pointed out.
