News Five new Ambassadors accredited to the Republic of San Marino have presented their Credential Letters 09 November 2021

This morning, the Ceremony of presentation of the Credential Letters of five new Ambassadors accredited to the Republic of San Marino has taken place at the Government Building in front of Their Excellencies the Captains Regent Francesco Mussoni and Giacomo Simoncini.

 

Welcomed and introduced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luca Beccari, the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic,H.E. Karla Wusterovà, the Ambassador of Belgium H.E. Pierre-Emmanuel De Bauw, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands H.E. Willem Alexander van Ee, the Ambassador of Swizerland H.E. Monika Schmutz Kirgöz, the Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa Nosipho Nausca Jean Ngcaba presented their Credential Letters to the Captains Regent.

 

During the presentation of the new ambassadors to Their Excellencies the Captains Regent, Minister Beccari has emphasised the complete availability of the Ministry and the Department of Foreign Affairs to collaborate with the states represented by the new Plenipotentiaries on issues of common interest with particular attention on cooperation in the multilateral context.

 

He also made an appeal to strengthen cooperation in order to jointly tackle the worrying phenomenon of climate change and the environmental issues, with hints of the expectations deriving from the results of the current Cop26 in Glasgow.

 

The High Diplomats emphasised their willingness to support each other on issues of European interest.

 

At the end of the Ceremony, the new Ambassadors have signed the Book of Illustrious Guests.
