On 19 September 2006 San Marino became a member of the International Criminal Police Organization - Interpol. In conformity with the Constitution and General Regulations of the Organization, San Marino has set up its National Central Bureau, which provides international police cooperation in accordance with the agreements in force. The Office, under the authority of the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, ensures liaison with the bodies in the other Member States serving as National Central Bureaus and with the Organization’s General Secretariat.
