Given the new opportunity for San Marino to take part in the Interreg-VI IPA ADRION calls, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Foreign Affairs are glad to announce that on 16 May 2023, the San Marino National Infoday about the first call for proposals of the transnational European Programme will take place at Sala Montelupo in Domagnano.

At the beginning of 2022 San Marino was included in the EUSAIR Macro-regional Strategy and subsequently in the IPA ADRION Programme (2021-2027). It was the first time that the Republic of San Marino joined the European Territorial Cooperation mechanisms.

San Marino’s participation in IPA ADRION gives the opportunity to San Marino public and private entities to contribute to the implementation of European projects financed by the Programme, in collaboration with the partners from the other countries of the Adriatic-Ionian region.

The first call for proposals includes among its intervention priorities the topics of innovation, environment, climate change, circular economy and sustainable mobility.

During the Infoday, the officials of the Joint Secretariat of IPA ADRION will share their experience, describing the technical details of the call for proposals, the functioning and the procedures to present a project proposal. This will be followed by a debate to answer the public’s questions and curiosity.
