The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs that, within the framework of the International Yoga Day, proclaimed by the United Nations General in 2014, San Marino will celebrate the eight edition of this event on June 13, at 5.30 p.m. at the Cava dei Balestrieri
The annual event is organised by the Embassy of India in Italy and San Marino, in close cooperation with the Embassy of San Marino in Italy and the Department of Foreign Affairs, under the patronage of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Sport, Culture and Tourism, in connection with the Dogana Community Centre.
The 2025 International Day with the theme “Yoga for one Earth, one Health”, will be inaugurated by institutional speeches. San Marino yoga teachers of the Tai Chi Rei Center (Serena Orioli), Nikoniko Center (Daniela Pezzi), Yoga&Zen (Francesco Giorgi), Shanghai of Joy (Davide Devadas) and the House of Yoga (Barbara Chiari) will guide the practice. Indian Master Pradeep Bathi will also be present at the event, guiding practitioners in the practice of Pranayama, the yogic exercise of focusing on breath.
Teachers will alternate to perform the Common Yoga Protocol, as established by the United Nations, and assist practitioners of this ancient Indian discipline, recognized worldwide for its psycho-physical benefits.
Contemporary, as in the previous edition, a special practice for kids will take place, to teach yoga to children.
A toast and a small buffet will be held at the end of the event, free of charge and open to all participants.
For those who are interested in participating we recommend to bring a mat.
Please note that in case of bad weather the event will be held at the gym of the Elementary School “La Quercia” in Murata, located in Via Erviano 34, Murata.
