Today, 24 April, in Beijing, Minister Plenipotentiary Dario Galassi presented to Chinese President Xi Jinping the Credential Letters accrediting him as Ambassador of the Republic of San Marino to the People's Republic of China.

The ceremony, held in the Great Hall of the People in Tiananmen Square, was the first after more than two years of suspension due to the coronavirus epidemic and the subsequent restrictive policy.

Ambassador Galassi is the third Plenipotentiary of the Republic in the great Asian country, to which we are bound by strong ties of friendship and cooperation, especially in the economic and cultural fields.

In the margins of the Official Ceremony, the new Ambassador Galassi met with Senior Officials of the Europe Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
